Cosmic Compass, (7/7-7/13)

Here’s a look at the key cosmic transits occurring this week:

  • Moon trine Chiron (Monday) + Jupiter trine South Node (Monday) + Mercury trine North Node (all week)

    • Early in the week, we may see a theme of supporting others struggles, either through mentorship or addressing issues/incidents in our own past, and communication/travel towards our next phase

  • Moon Squaring Mars (Monday + Tuesday)

    • When the Moon squares Mars early this week - there could be a tug-of-war between our instincts and our motivation, i.e. what we are pulled towards vs what we know we need to do.

  • Venus moves into Leo (Friday)

    • Venus rules design, aesthetics, and finance, so get ready to feel the shift from nurturing/feelings into action and the spotlight! Are there new logos or looks that need to see the light of day? Friday could be a great day to launch!

  • Sun trine Saturn (through July 16th)

    • The Sun will be highlighting guidelines and guides

  • Lilith opposing Neptune (all week)

    • There’s a feeling of empowerment and liberation in terms of our vision for ourselves.

  • Next week: Mars direct with Uranus in Taurus (Monday, 7/15)

    • Action and Motivation (Mars) meet Innovation and Experimentation (Uranus) in grounded and tenacious Taurus on Monday. This could be a great day to do some brainstorming or idea-hacking either personally or professionally - as long as there’s a little bit of structure to capture the brilliance!

  • Next week: Mercury retroshade begins Wednesday, 7/16 (Actual retrograde is 8/4 to 8/27, but the two week period before and after can also see some of the effects on anything communication and travel related).

Some reminders about Saturn, Neptune and Pluto being retrograde for a few months.

  • Saturn is the planet of lessons, structure and mentors - so when retrograde, it challenges us to take a look at the rules and foundations we have in place - to look at what’s working and what’s not, or even highlight what we want to focus on.

  • Neptune is all about dreams and imagination - so when retrograde, we’re forced to compare some of those visions to reality, and maybe do some tweaking or clarifications. Time to re-write those mission statements or manifestations, maybe?

  • Pluto is about transformation and darkness - so when it’s retrograde (for nearly half the year), we’re usually forced to look inside ourselves - what habits and beliefs are no longer serving us.
